Sheree Wright is a lawyer who is dedicated to helping immigrants and many others through the legal system. She specializes in personal injury, immigration law, entertainment law, family law, and much more, which she provides through her firm IBF Law Group.
“I have been practicing law since late 2018 and I am the owner of IBF Law Group. We cater to a wide variety of our demographic. I am originally from Jamaica, was raised in Illinois, and moved to Phoenix for law school and started this practice here in Phoenix!” Sheree says.
One of the main areas of IBF Law Group is immigration law. This is not surprising given that immigration has been on the forefront of everyone’s mind in recent years. It is constantly in the news and a topic of debate amongst many people of how immigration should be handled.
Nonetheless, many people forget that once people cross the border, there are slew of issues that now face them. That is why it is important for them to connect with firms like IBF Law Group.
“IBF stands for immigration, personal injury, business and family law. Many of our clients start out with us working with our immigration team, but stay when another legal issue arises such as personal injury or other types of incidents. They come back to us because we have earned their trust and their confidence and they don’t look to go anywhere else. That is what makes IBF different from others,” Sheree states.
IBF Law, in addition to Sheree, is composed of many other attorneys who themselves come from immigrant backgrounds. Many of them have firsthand experience navigating the complexities of the immigration system, which makes them all the more eager and willing to help others in a similar situation. Whether someone is applying for citizenship or fighting deportation, IBF Law Group can help.
The desire to help others has characterized Sheree’s life. She is constantly giving back to the community in more ways than one. In addition to her practice, she is also a member of Mi Familia Vota—a national civic engagement organization that unites Latinos, immigrants, and allied communities to promote social and economic justice through various workshops.
Indeed, Sheree’s passion for immigration law, family law, and sports law is a result of her early life experiences. Her mission has always been “Keeping Families Together.” She shares:
“Since my earliest years, I have always cared about the greater good and helping people whether it is through my law practice or in my free time. I firmly believe that everyone should get equal justice no matter who they are and where they come from. It was inevitable for me to combine my interests in helping people and practicing law, so I created IBF Law.”
